2007

The Sonangol and the SBM Offshore Group committed to develop a new fabrication yard in Porto Amboim, Kwanza Sul Region in order to expand “Angolan Content” and enhance the capacity of the Angolan fabrication industry.
 

2008

Starting of MOT Project, in October 2008.

2009

Construction of 2 Shallow Water Calm Buoys for the MTOE Project for SBM/CABGOC.
 
 

2010

Joint Venture was joined by DSME from South Korea. Fabrication of 26 mudmats, integration of FTA’s and fabrication of ballast blocks for HMC/BP.

2011

Fabrication of initiation piles and gas injection spools for Technip/BP.
Fabrication of FPSO boarding ladder for OPS Angola.
 
 

2012

Beginning of the construction of protectors, water treatment module (M122) and 17 suction anchor piles for FPSO CLOV (TOTAL).
Beginning of the construction of 9 suction anchor piles, sulfate reduction package module (M08) and hot oil pump module (M18) for FPSO N’Goma (SBM/ENI).

2013

Installation of Jamba, Africa’s Strongest Crane, able to lift cargoes weighing up to 2,500 tons.
First ceremony held in Paenal yard.
 
FPSO CLOV’s module 122 successfully lifted and installed with Jamba crane.
FPSO CLOV’s naming ceremony, with the attendance of Angola’s First Lady, and local entities.
 
 

2014

Modules 08 and 18 for N’Goma FPSO successfully lifted and installed.
FPSO N’Goma ceremony, with the attendance of Eng. Francisca Lemos da Silva, the Chairwoman for Blocks 17 and 21.
Fabrication of 2 WHP topsides for the Mafumeira Sul project.

2015

Load-out and sea-fastening of 2 WHP topsides for Mafumeira Sul project (CABGOC).
Successful delivery and on time, of MSP Centro platforms (CABGOC).
